Cuccidati ~ Christmas Cookies
Traditional shaped "pasta frolla" holiday cookies lusciously stuffed figs, dates, raisins, orange and lemon peels, citron, roasted almonds, hazelnuts, pecans, walnuts, amarena cherries in syrup, honey, exotic Italian spices, cocoa powder, and dark chocolate. This filling is soaked in fine liqueur, glazed with lemon sugar and sprinkled in nonpareils.
This holiday cookie has a very long shelf life if kept sealed in a zip lock bag or may be also frozen.
Cuccidati cookies are baked in small individual sizes and are sold in the royal blue La Biscotteria gift box.
