Traditional shaped "pasta frolla" holiday cookies lusciously stuffed figs, dates, raisins, orange and lemon peels, citron, roasted almonds, hazelnuts, pecans, walnuts, imported amarena cherries in syrup, honey, exotic Italian spices, cocoa powder, and dark chocolate. This filling is soaked in fine liqueur (Cognac & Grand Marnier), glazed with lemon sugar and sprinkled in nonpareils.
We have created three versions of cuccidati cookies (same traditional filling above):
(2) White chocolate dipped with colored nonpareils,
(3) Dark chocolate dipped white nonpareils
This holiday cookie has a very long shelf life (6 months) if kept sealed in a zip lock bag or may be also frozen. You may reheat the plain version for a magical tasty experience!
